#2 Switch off

Unplug the gadgets. Silence your phones. Switch off the light. Spend an evening in a cocoon of candle light and notice how time softens and slows down. Bath time, dinner time, bed time. Spend it all without checking in, logging in, listening in. candles

Just be. In quiet conversation or curled up under cosy blankets with the books you never found time to read. Just be – while you write Christmas cards perhaps, your shopping list or the agenda for the next day’s meeting. Fold your laundry if you wish, water the plants, sort out the toy box, let out the cat. Just do it all to candle light. Unplugged, off line and cocooned.
